Ebonypaw yawned and stood up. Ivorypaw was sleeping right next to her. They had been apprentices for a few moons, and would be warriors soon. She nudged Ivorypaw awake.
"Come on. Let's go see Wandernight. She's getting her memory back more and more each day!"
Ivorypaw opened her eyes and looked into Ebonypaw's sightless blue eyes.
"Okay. Come on."
They padded quickly to the leader's den. They both stopped as they heard Fellstar coming out. He sniffed the air and nodded at his kits.
"Why don't you two go hunting. You can have an assessment. See how far you've come. You can check on Wandernight later."
They nodded in unison, and Fellstar flicked his tail for Bayfrost to come over.
"We'll give them a hunting assessment. Do you think Ivorypaw is ready?"
Bayfrost nodded.
"Ya. She's been doing really well."
Fellstar nodded.
"Okay. Let's go."
Fellstar padded out of the camp with his clan members following.

Ivorypaw flicked her tail in excitement "I can't believe it! We're almost WARRIORS!" she jumped up with excitement, looking more like a little kit than an apprentice. For a second, there was a flash of white and a hiss. Ivorypaw froze, her shining silver eyes wide "Ebonypaw, d-did you hear that?"

*Ebonypaw froze. Their father and Ivorypaw's mentor had left them, saying that they would start to follow when they split up.*
L-let's hunt together for a bit. Show them how we can work together.

Ivorypaw nodded "Yea. Good I idea. Why don't we start by the... ri-" she shook her head "Uh, you choose where we start."

*Ebonypaw shook her head.*
No, you choose.

"In the forest then." she smiled, running off in the opposite direction of where the flash of white had come from.

*Ebonypaw smiled and raced after her sisters scent. She stopped, sniffing the air.*
I smell birds.

Ivorypaw nodded "I do to."
Just then, a big, juicy dove landed right on a low branch. Flicking her tail back and forth slowly, she jumped skillfully onto the branch, making the bird jump onto the ground, a few feet away from Ebonypaw, to scared of her to notice the blind she-cat

*Ebonypaw leaped forward when she heard the bird shriek and land, catching the bird's wing with her claw. She quickly killed it.*

*Ebonypaw smiled up at the branch where Ivorypaw was balanced*

Ivorypaw nodded, bowing her head and jumping off the branch gracefully "I do my best."
She looked at Ebonypaw "Ready to hunt by ourselves now?"

Sure. I'll go towards the Twoleg nests. There might be something over there.

"I'll head toward that high bit of hill, ya know near the river. Lotsa crows hang around there. Maybe even a falcon!"
She smiled at her sister, resting her tail on her sister's shoulder "Good luck."
She ran off in the direction of the river.

Once on the hill, Ivorypaw sat, looking at the bushes that his the log. She hadn't spoken to Striker in a while. Her heart ached every time she though about him, she wanted to see him more than anything. His scent...
There was a hiss from behind her and Ivorypaw whirled arond, her eyes wide.
A white she-cat, with cruel, blue eyes stood behind her, smiling.
"Hello Ivorypaw ready to die?"
Lightenedcall advanced.

*Ebonypaw reached the twoleg nests, and realized Bayfrost had just left. She now scented Fellstar's scent and her heart quickened. She sniffed the air again, and smelled a strong scent of mouse. She crouched down, her ears moving back and forth, much like her eyes would do if she could see. Then, as quick as a snake she lunged forward. She stood up with a limp mouse in her jaws, which she quickly buried.*

Fellstar scented mouse, and was sure Ebonypaw did too. Soon, he heard her lunge, that mouse was as good as dead.

Ivorypaw backed up, clenching her jaw "Stay away!"
Everything happened quickly. Too quickly. Lightenedcall lunged, Ivorypaw jumped back. Right over the edge of the hill, falling down, through the air free.
Then... pain. Searing pain. The warm trickle of blood, somewhere from her front. She couldn't move! She couldn't breath.
Then black. Painless... merciful black.

Bayfrost padded over to where Ivorypaw said she would be, right near the river, on some raised land. She'd hunter here herself, plenty big birds.
She hid in a tree, looking for Ivorypaw... she wasnt there. Something was up.
She got down from the tree "Ivorypaw!" No answer.
Her scent was definatly there. And so was anothers.
Lightenedcall
She raced over to where Fellstar was "F-fellstar. Ivorypaw... she's missing. Lightenedcall was there." she sobbed. Not caring what was happening.

*Ebonypaw froze. She heard Bayfrost's voice right away. She leaped too short, missing the bird."
W-what about Lightenedcall?
*She spun around, her blindness making her feel as small and useless as ever*

Bayfrost closed her eyes "I-i went to check on Ivorypaw. Her scent was there... b-but she wasn't. And Lightenedcall's scent was there too."

Fellstar's sightless eyes widened "No. First Quiverpaw, now Ivorypaw. This CAN'T Happen. Ebonypaw, we are cutting this short. We don't have time to get a patrol. Berryfrost. Show me where you scented her NOW."

*Ebonypaw shook.*
What's happening!
*She cried out, her voice shaking with terror. She couldn't get a sense of where anything was. She was scared, which then cut off her hearing and smell as panic rose inside her.*
:~~Ebonypaw:
Fellstar ran over to his daughter licking her ear gently "Calm down. It's ok." he whispered soothingly "We need to find Ivorypaw, Lightenedcall took her. She'll be ok, but we HAVE to hurry. Ok sweetie?"

*Ebonypaw shook, but nodded.*
Why did she take her?
:~~Ebonypaw:
"She is... crazy. She wants to... kill Wandernight and my kits because I didnt have kits with her. She's picking you off, one, by one."
~-~Ivorypaw~-~
*Ebonypaw choked on a small gasp, and she felt her knees collapse.*
W-we need to f-find Ivoryp-paw.
*Ebonypaw heard a twig snap farther away, and she recognized Finnick's smell immediately.*
:~~Ebonypaw:
"Do you want Bayfrost to take you back to camp?" Fellstar asked urgently "We need to keep you safe."

"I need to help find her!"
She started to run in the direction Bayfrost had come from. She didn't know where Finnick had gone, but she knew he was close.
:~~Ebonypaw:
"Ebonypaw!" Fellstar bolted after her, his heart pounding.

Striker looked at Ivorypaw's limp body sadly. His mother had helped him bring her back to their territory where she now lay on a pile of the softest moss. A team of medics were now surrounding her, attempting to stop the flow of blood by her injured paw.
Her fur was matted with blood, and she looked... simply dead. But, her flank rose slightly, and her heart beat, ever so softly.
He looked at Ivorypaw "Please." he mewed, his voice strained "Don't leave me."

*Ebonypaw stopped at the top of the hill. She stood, shaking so badly she could barely stand.*
I-ivorypaw!
*She called out and collapsed.*
Please... be okay...
*She closed her eyes.*

Fellstar finally caught up with her "Dont EVER..." He stopped, sniffing "B-blood."

*Ebonypaw didn't answer.*
She's dead! Isn't she!?
:~~Ebonypaw:
"No... I don't know. But... the blood smells like it's from end of the cliff. He ran off the cliff, going around to an all dirt area where the dirt was stained with blood. Ivorypaw's blood. A dug up fox trap layed. There was another scent, none that he'd ever known though. He followed it, but it stopped at the river. "Ebonypaw. She's not here!" he yowled "She fell. But... she isn't HERE."

*Ebonypaw shook her head.*
Where would she be then!? She's probably dead by now!
*Ebonypaw stood up and drooped her head.*
:~~Ebonypaw:
"Don't loose hope. But for now, her scent it lost." He sighed "Now come, we have to tell your mother."

What happened to Wandernight. When she... lost her memory? Was it Lightenedcalls fault?

"No. She just fell, and lost her memory."

*Ebonypaw sniffed the air, and could no longer smell Finnick. She shuddered.*
Ivorypaw...
:~~Ebonypaw:
"She'll be fine." Fellstar muttered, none to convinced himself. He padded away.

Striker ran out, "Where are those herbs?" he hissed. A little too loudly, thats when he saw a she-cat sitting on the cliff where Ivorypaw had fallen, his eyes widened

*Ebonypaw got up and followed Fellstar, her tail dragging along the ground.*
Is this my fault? I agree to split up.
:~~Ebonypaw:
Striker shrugged it off and continued gathering herbs. "Clan cats."

"No. Never. It was Lightenedcall's fault."

But... If I had been there...
*Ebonypaw shook her head, sighing.*

"You'd probably both be dead."

No... I could have saved her!

"I shouldn't have let you out in the first place!" Fellstar hissed.

*Ebonypaw flinched.*
You wouldn't have known! We have to become warriors too!

"Yea. Well Obviously, you're too young to realize that none of this was your fault."

*Ebonypaw narrowed her eyes.*
I'm not young! You have to stop treating us like kits. You can't protect us for the rest of our lives.

Fellstar rolled his eyes "Ya. AND someone is trying to kill you. excuse me for being OVERRPROTECTIVE of my daughter." he chuckled "I feel sorry for the tom you fall for. I'll be overprotective all my life. I love you too much."

*She looked away, her thoughts flashing to Finnick*

"Doesn't mean I can't help." he nuzzled her as they padded into camp "Try to not worry about Ivorypaw, she'll be fine."

*Ebonypaw didn't respond, she only sighed. She snifed the air, padding to the leaders den.*

Fellstar buried his nose in his paws, habing a heard time shaking the dread overwhelming him

Wandernight padded out of the leaders den to almost bump in with Ebonypaw. Her memory was almost finally back. She looked at Ebonypaw.
"What's wrong?"
Ebonypaw gasped and buried her face into her mother's pelt. Wandernight looked over at Fellstar.

Fellstar sighed "Ivorypaw went missing. Lightenedcall's scent was there."

*Wandernight stiffened.*
I-ivorypaw!? Could you follow any scent?
:~~Wandernight:
*Ebonypaw sighed.*
There was blood...
:~~Ebonypaw:
"There was some... but whoever moved her washed her sent at the river,"

*Ebonypaw shook her head, resisting her urge to cry.*

We should have banished Lightenedcall!
*Wandernight hissed, her emotions high strung.*
:~~Wandernight:
"We had NO proof! And do you honestly think that would have stopped her?"

We could've made sure the patrols were higher. She killed my kit. Possibly my other one. I think that's enough proof!
*Wandernight looked at Ebonypaw, wrapping her tail around her protectively. She licked her ear.*
I won't let her touch you.

Fellstar shook his head "I-i'm sorry. I'm going to search for her."

What if Lightenedcall hurts you?

*Ebonypaw stayed sitting beside Wandernight, just listening.*
Will Lightenedcall come back to camp?

"She will. Of course. Everyone thinks she's an angel. She'll prbably have erased her scent by now."

Just then, Lightenedcall padded into camp, a thresh in her jaws, she set it down, smiling sweetly. Too Sweety. "Ah. Nice to see you, Fellstar." she gave a brisk nod to Wandernight and Ebonypaw "Where's Ivorypaw? Wasn't she with you?"

*Ebonypaw backed up behind Wandernight. Wandernight bared her teeth.*
Leave my kits and my mate alone.
*Her ears were flattened against her head, and she was almost snarling. It was a dreary day, so not many cats were in the camp.*

Lightenedcall smiled "She's dead, I pushed her off the cliff myself. Got caught in a fox trap too." she said in a whisper so quiet, they could barely hear her "And theres nothing you can do to prove it."

*Wandernight felt the rage boil inside her. She let out a caterwaul and leaped at Lightenedcall. She dug her claws deep into lightenedcall's pelt. She felt blood well up around her paws. She used her back legs to rake her claws across Lightenedcall.*
I will KIL YOU!

Lightenedcall laughed "Funny. You'll turn into the murderer. I'll be the innocent victim. Do it. I dare you."

*Wandernight bared her teeth.*
I will! If it keeps you out of my life!
*She bit into Lightenedcall's neck, making sure she was going to make it a slow death.*

Fellstar hissed "Wandernight. Stop." he was prepared to spring "She's not worth it."

*Wandernight ignored him. She wanted to kill the cat who had ruined so much of her life. She snarled bitterly.*

Fellstar sprung on her, knocking her off Lightenedcall and pinning her down "Calm down. Calm down." he licked her nose urgently

"She. Killed. My. KITS!"
Wandernight struggled under Fellstar, snarling in Lightenedcall's direction.
:~~Wandernight:
"We'll get out revenge. Dont sink to her level!"
~-~Fellstar~-~
*Wandernight snarled.*
Sinking to her level would be throwing her in with a pit of adders.
:~~Wandernight:
"Stop." Fellstar hissed "Now."
~-~Fellstar~-~
*Wandernight stared up at fellstar.*
"You'd understand if you had given birth to kits to have them ripped from you. But you don't, because toms never understand."
:~~Wandernight:
"I might not. But I will NOT let you become a murderer Wandernight. I'LL kill her if I have to. Just don't ruin yourself like this."
~-~Fellstar~-~
"This would never ruin myself. I'm already ruined."
:~~Wandernight:
"No, your not. You the perfect cat. Loving. Pure. Nice. You can never be ruined."

"I am ruined. I've lost so much."
:~Wandernight:
"No, you are perfect. You are scarred thats all."
~-~Fellstar~-~
*Wandernight growled.*
Stop saying that

"PLease Wandernight."

"You know what I'm saying is true."
:~~Wandernight:
"I know what your saying isn't true."

Well, guess what. It is.
:~~Wandernight:
"We could do this all day, but guess what. In my opinion, you will always be perfect. Whole."

*Wandernight shook her head and walked away, glaring at Lightenedcall who had deep wounds. Wandernight then padded out of camp.*
:~~Wandernight:
*Ebonypaw stayed behind Fellstar. She whispered*
W-where is she going?
:~~Ebonypaw:
"I don't know." Fellstar shook his head "Should we follow her?"
~-~Fellstar~-~
"I don't know. It's your call."
:~~Ebonypaw:
*Wandernight soon found herself in front of a pool. She gasped. Did I bring myself here? She lay down, staring into the clearness of the pool.*
:~~Wandernight:
"I say let your mother calm down."
~-~Fellstar~-~
*Ebonypaw nodded, her blind eyes finding where Lightenedcall was by the scent of blood. She narrowed her eyes, her pelt prickling*
:~~Ebonypaw:
Lightenedcall sat up, smiling "She's dead" she almost sang "And you, little one, are next."
She lunged at Ebonypaw

Fellstar smelt Lightenedcall getting closer. Just in the nick of time, he jumped in front of her, claws scoring his flank. He wined, but stood strong "Get. Away. From. My. Daughter." he hissed, his voice cold... deadly

*Ebonypaw stumbled backwards as she heard Lightenedcall. She shook and took a few more steps backwards.*
:~~Ebonypaw:
Lightenedcall snarled, advanceing, just just abot to spring again, a border patrol entered. She smiled, too sweetly "Thank-you Fellstar." she purred, and padded to the warrior's den

*Ebonypaw shook in fear and stayed crouched, low on the ground.*
